At Heart of Europe we have a great selection of cakes and pastries which are all hand made on the premises. We have a strong belief in using only the best ingredients and making food just like you would make it at home. We have a selection of cakes to suit all occasions and diets including a range of gluten-free cakes and dairy-free cakes. There is absolutely no compromise on taste and quality with our cakes, which will ensure you and your guests will enjoy a special treat!




Date Almond and Choc Cake

This cake is great on its own or served with
unsweetened whipped cream and strawberries

Hazelnut and Poppyseed Cake

A beautiful moist cake for poppyseed lovers.
This cake is made of hazelnut meal and
ground poppy seeds, a delicious treat to
serve with coffee.

Chocolate and Nut Cake
(gluten free*)

This cake is a real treat for anyone one who loves
dark chocolate. The cake is made using real dutch cocoa
and ground hazelnuts, walnuts and almonds.






Gugelhopf, Babovka, kuglof, babka... this cake takes many names but always takes the same shape. This is a cream cheese based butter cake with chocolate marble swirls. Another lovely cake that is a prefect companion your coffee or just a lovely treat! All cakes are $14 for small (6 slices) and $17 for large (8 slices). Other sizes are available upon request. *


We’re not a certified “gluten-free” kitchen, however all equipment and utensils used in baking our gluten-free cakes are thoroughly cleaned, and special care is taken to minimise any possible contact with wheat products.
